Well the down side of this is that there are more cagers than there are of us and sooner or later ol' Andy Knuclehead of the LTNZA is going to come up with another 'dictum' to the Mr Plods of our socieity something along the lines that if you see bikers 'lane splitting etc.................book em.

That would be my dearly beloved Vifferman! He is all of the above - harmless, inventive, extremely annoying to the driver, and amusing to me!

I don't know about you PF, but I'd be a little more careful when lane splitting - I know I would be pretty pissed off if someone knocked my mirrors because they thought the gap was bigger than it really was. You never know what they might do to the next bike they see.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Errrrum... I had to read this at least three times. It's nice that I'm your "dearly beloved", but after realising (disappointedly) that's not what you meant, I think you should edit it to say, "That would be my dearly beloved, Vifferman!"
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I wouldn't even bother saying sorry, I'm sure they would have sped off if they were the one hitting you.

Whoops, glad Hitcher didn't spot that! You are so right, Vifferman - although I must say, I have never met you and so if circumstances had been different, who knows if you may indeed have turned out to be my beloved! But, alas, you are too late, I'm an old-fashioned girl who won't be cheating!

Bugger. That's blown another perfectly good rumour.
