DVD auction for a good cause

OK - You probably need to trust me a bit on this one.... Plus bear with me, I'm going out on a limb and this could just blow up in my face and ruin my fine reputation (cough)....

Now - it has come to my attention the a KB member of good repute and high standing has a need of a little angel investment or helping hand. These are tough times my friends (and probably going to get tougher) and shit happens to good folks. Of course that does not mean that people don't have pride though and for this very reason this person is NOT going to be named OK. You will just have to trust me on that... If you have some real concerns about that - pm me and I'll try to alleviate your fears.

If you think you might be the recipient - don't bother trying to stop me its already started.

Now I'm not above taking small donations either, to bank acct

03 0732 0280036 017 (pm me please to let me know)

So - I'm also auctioning a brand new DVD. I accidentally ended up with 2 but its Motorcycle Sport from 1950 (one of the castrol series I think) and its a belter. (You can also buy it for bugger all from the UK)

Start price is $10 postage included.

I have a goal in mind and I'm already a ways towards it. Every bit helps

So why am I doing this? Think back - I often do this stuff for a bunch of selfish reasons. I'm not a wealthy guy but I've been lucky enough to have a shit hot life. 3 great daughters, fabulous wife, I live in paradise, 3 bikes in the shed and we just had a swell weekend in the 'rapa drinking ourselves to death and riding home on our super sexy 1970 TR6C. Last night all the girls popped in for a feed and I had all 3 grandsons crawling all over me - fuck me, who lives better than me?

But - thats now. Getting to here has been a ride and yes there have been tough times and at time people have helped me along. Usually no question asked or payment requested. Its all about paying it forwards or just a random act of kindness that makes some ones day. You will get more out of that than you think. Karma might be a bitch but shes a kindly one....

Later - I'll auction off a days escorted kayak fishing (with me) during the summer... Or I'll turn up to your event with a classic bike and give kids and grannies a ride. The auction will be how much are you prepared to pay to STOP me turning up....

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Yeah - snapper that was swimming an hour back is a house special... Cannot be beat, chuck it on the bbq with some lemon....

Of course if we dont catch any it will mean a humiliating and expensive trip to Pak n save..

Have to wait for the water to warm up a bit though. It the ocean is about 50% salt water and 50% spotty dog fish

    Paul the acc # 03 0732 0280036 017 has a 2 digit suffix not 3.
Advise what number is to be ommitted please.
That 'pay it forward' thing works.
Your help with the Tony Mills ride in March has ensured my support for this.

Good man - thanks. Thats the spirit.

Jeeze life has some twists and turns for some poor buggers.... Its like a game of snakes and ladders. One day its all ladders and suddenly you are up to your arse in snakes...

Yeah it does...my toughest days were the late 90's..I had to make a list and work through very problem one at a time...was only one thing I couldn't fix.
Was not enjoyable, but in the end it has all worked out and life is good.

    Tell me about it... Lists...

One things for sure though, ignoring issues does not resolve them. Except of course trial things like gravity and logic, I defy them regularly...
