I've pulled motors out of Goldwings Drew.
It's not a particularly difficult or time consuming job.

I was told that its a back to the frame strip of everything..., then re-fit . They seemed to be of the opinion that it would take a week to complete. Im told the plastics even smell good to the buggers. Talk about meals on wheels. The local shop said they have quite a few quads in as well as the odd bike. Mo DR trailie was also nibbled but I was able to sort that out myself. Got 2 rats so far and had a heap of poison removed from the bait stations. The cat got 1 as well. I have 2 gin traps and a cage trap.
So you'd be in the market for one of those plug it in the wall type sonic rat scaring off things then.
Darn sure I would be after that lot.
Mind you,my loom is worth about $50 an I can remake an replace the lot in a morning +beers.
My Wing is 2009. I have seen a Zappa which delivers thousands of volts that looks interesting. I would like do send a load of 00Buckshot at the buggers though.
I had a Rat problem at a previous rental and caught a rather large fooker in a trap. The trap didn't kill it but the blow to the head with a spade certainly did. I'd have taken a much slower approach to killing it if my bike had been chewed on. Hemp covered lounge suites are another mouth-watering commodity to rodents, as a friend of mine discovered the hard way.
I have seen rats eat copper wave guide cable (think large plastic cover water pipe, used on cell phone towers) so I don't think they have very cultured taste buds. But palm oil may make it taste better, I have also seen quads eaten by cows the only plastic left was the parts under the carriers that they could not reach.

I can see how Blue Wing turn that into $4500. Granted not all the components would be necessary but the main loom alone has a MSRP of NZ$2053
or $1,600 NZD http://www.hondapartsnation.com/page...CA5MCAAF3500GD is not $4000 but it is still a fucking rip off.

You fools, it's a Honda Goldwiring.
At least you can get parts from Bluewing. I'm still waiting for parts from Triumph NZ (read as ripoff cunts) since 04.
I just noticed mouse prints on one of my vehicles in my workshop and have just brought some bait stations and put them around the shop. I normally would not use them as I ususlly have my dog with me but all the talk about vermin has made me a little paranoid.
Just another leather clad Tinkerbell.
The Wanker on the Fucking Harley is going for a ride!
