I know it wont work because I have never tried it
    Eh ?
I doubt John Britten, Bill Hamilton, AJ Hackett, Ernest Rutherford ever thought like that and tbh it's quite insulting to NZ'rs to make that comment, given that we are "world famous" for being able to think outside the square and self sufficient and entrepreneurial in many areas.
Unless the reference is to yourself?

I find it hard enough remembering to, lean the bike, slip the clutch, change down, turn the bars, move body forward, give her some gas, weight the outside peg, elbows up ...........oh shit, I’m through the corner......
DAM here's another one ...without adding, pull the clutch in "slightly" to disengage the engine, but not too far to operate the brake
    Opps dam....

At the end of the day, I’m sure its a fantastic bit of well engineered and thought out kit that will be the holy grail or light at the end of the tunnel for some riders, but when guys like Stefan Merriman, Chris Birch, David Knight, Juha Salminen can do what they do without a slipper clutch or a clake, Im still thinking "what’s the point" unless I cut my foot off .....In which case It might be quite usefull.

Ah my point exactly we are world famous for stuff like this, John Britten would love this innovation so I am disappointed that people that obviously have no idea how it works just knock it, its just what happens here.

This wont be for everyone but then neither is four stroke / two stroke, it is what suits your needs and what you like.

Like what was said a couple of posts back, no-one is forcing you to buy anything, but for those who are keen its a cool option and I cant wait to get it on my Gassa EC300

Dude. No-one is forcing you to buy anything.
    Was made by another user.
My response was to what was said and the fact I had rant on about it.
But as you pointed out and I would agree, I'm only one person and I can take the crap for that.

well said, i tried a auto clutch once, i simply did not like it, i could not use the clutch like i normally could so i hated it, I think this would be the same, at times i use the rear brake wiht out the clutch in, and sometimes without,

i can see where it would be usefull, but its not for me, some poeple would love it tho,

i know some boys with rekluse clutches that remove the clutch lever and put the rear brake on the handlebar, they swear buy it, horses for courses,

To all the basher what do you ride XR250 from the stone age why not admit you don't have the cash to buy new tech and be done with it. Erzberg was won by Jonny Walker who had a Rekluse and o ye that's right did he not come second in Romaniacs.

Get out of the stone age people and into the 21 century and Scott didn't your bike fall apart or blow up after a 1 lap at the T100 maybe something a bit more modern would of finished the race.

Just because I prefer the controls as they are, doesn't mean I'm not into machine improvements. Ps: It's got nothing to do with money.

I haven't read a more incorrect post in quite a while.

    1. When you look at the bikes people ride here, most are riding modern bikes. Just read the info in the top right hand corner of people's posts.

    2. The modern bikes are more likely to blow up than the old bikes as they are tuned for higher performance.

    3. Johnny Walker wasn't second at Romaniacs, he was third. (FTR Lette was second and Jarvis was first)

Capital [W]hat do you ride [Question Mark]
[Suggestion – Perhaps a]XR250 from the Stone Age [Question Mark]
NB: XR250’s NOT available during the stone age
[Capital W]hy not admit you don't have the cash to buy new tech and be done with it.
Erzberg was won by Jonny Walker who had a Rekluse and o ye {Medieval Call ~ Meaning “Attention”} [Probably means – “and yes”] that's right did he not come second in Romaniacs.

It's worth more than my bike.

    I wouldn't mind a Rekluse though.
Working out how to get the rear brake up on the left bar is proving difficult though...
