Would pre 82 still be more like the classic chairs? big wheelers and front exits?

    or just really old "moderns"

make a pre 89 for all the old moderns..

More like old moderns, so we'll have pre82 and you want pre89?

haha, I don't really want anything. Only just filling the one modern class we have.. Leave it as is until we can get grids of 20+ of modern-ish bikes. Then if we get more bikes could start splitting into f1 and f2 and pre 89 (so agip bike can join in there)

I suspect it will appeal to people that dont like pom bikes & dont like long bikes.
At the start there were three classic chairs & if they hadnt kept turning up & running there wouldnt be 25 now.
Going by the enthusiam for period 4 & 5 in Aussie (basically pre '73 & pre '82 all in jap inc) Id say we will have a strong field in a few years.
We are discussing making the rules the same as aussie for two reasons, 1, we can buy their machines ready to race without needing to modify them, & that will grow our class quicker. 2, If we compete in aussie it will be on a level playing field, unlike now, where our classes are very much at odds.

Been there done that, 2nd behind Johhny B and Brett in the NZGP the first year of sidecar racing, had to push start the cunting 320kg thing by myself, I was normally fucked by the time we lined up for the race

I had a good catch up in person with Kevin Grey (one of the kingpins in the forming of the NZPCRA) yesterday.
He is very keen to see pre '82 sidecars run when & where they do, & is currently assisting in putting things through the correct channels to get it off the ground. PCRA members in general are right behind us on this one.
One BMW R90 sidecar for sale soon I think.
