    rear brake

Yes get a rear brake and bracket and weld it on to the existing bracket run a line up to the bar, buy a magura master cylinder and your away. you can get a rear set up with the bracket to run your standard brake and a 2 pot, with a line and either a nissan 12mm or magura 13mm for $1100.
Looks like a bling ling thing to me

Don't see how these can be a good thing? I take it when you pull the lever it disengages the clutch and applies the rear brake? When you clutch to loft the front over something the last thing you want to happen is the rear brake to be ripped on... could get real interesting with whoops ,drains etc at high speed.

There would have to be an adjustment there to set the balance. So say the last part of the travel activates the break.

Looks almost like it includes a hydro clutch upgrade as well

    Its like a recluse...cheating, cheating , cheating.

I dunno. Part of the reason we ride dirt bikes is for the challenge. The thrill of beating obstacles or going faster than before.

Would be good to sample it though just like the riding of a christini is something new.

Sounds bloody terrible! As said before, what happens when you want to use the clutch to manipulate the power? I sure as hell don't want the rear brake having any chance of coming on when I'm running a gear high and slipping the clutch out of a corner, or giving it a quick slip to find the power to clear a big double / log / river crossing etc!

The recluse does sound very cool, although I tend to agree with others that it's a bit like cheating... This however sounds more dangerous than anything

Couch enemas all around! One could make an electrical autoclutch with TPS, rear wheel speed sensor, and everything else for that sort of money!

I spent a couple of years pretending to be a mountain biker, the brake lever on either side of the handlebars is actually something I miss.... but not for more than a couple of seconds, fuck me, I don't struggle with rear braking with my foot.

You can vary cams to ensure power control, though how that would work for non hydraulic clutches as it heats is a good question ( uses a piston to a short cable aside the clutch actuator ), also has a clever way of clutch only ( sorta flip the lever around, why it's got that weird looking hook ).

There are times when it'd be handy I suspect, but those guys who love dragging the rear brake through whoops would be screwed.

Not for me, mind you given what it does sounds a fair price, a flexible way of managing one lever controlling two hydraulic feeds with integrated way of ignoring one ( brake ), maybe just me, but I don't think it'd be that simple.
