My most uncomfortable bike was the 82 Ducati MHR I owned......seat like the shape edge of a 4x2..of course thats when the damn thing actually went!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

Virago 250 - 5-10 minutes of riding before I wanted back on my VTR. It felt like my legs and arms were all over the place and transmitted every bump straight up my spine.
You only need two tools in life:
Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't.
WD-40 if it doesn't move and it should.

Failure comes from too little brute force, or
    too little ignorance.

Ok for the Dr650 the 150 x 50 seat is ridiculous. 20mins max sit time. Typical ride before repadding was Lower Hutt to top of rimutakas stop in agony-wait 10 minutes and carry on to Featherston-stop for 10 minutes and then go home because the torture was tooooo much!!!! Wih it repadded can do a tank full {2 hours} at a pinch.

I only had problems on one when 2up, simply because I couldn't move around. Found we needed a leg stretch after 150km, but then it was a bit crunched up for me as well.

Found my ZX7R fine? There are far more agressive bikes...

Worse, I rode a Tuono, the tank being plastic, there's bugger all grip and you slide around like crazy.

Worst for me was an Aprilia SXV550. I rode it around town a bit then down the motorway. About 10min into the motorway section, my arse hurt and it never got better. Still, it was a good test, I hated the seat and hated the range of about 100km before reserve. Didn't buy one

    Pillion on a Suzuki GS750ES

Doing a trip round the SI with a mate in the 80's, me on my Katana, him on this thing. We overnighted in CHCH and went out on the piss with a bloke we met there and one thing led to another and I arsed off. Landed on my shoulder and then leapt up and dragged the Katana over to the side of the road.

Net result was a broken collarbone - my bike was fine. For some reason we decided to carry on with me on the back of my mates bike, the aforementioned GS750. Now I'm 1.8m and 110kg+ and he was an average sized bloke plus we both had all our gear and bags and packs and shit. It was bloody torture, especially as my balance was for shit cos my arm was in a sling (which inspired a few odd looks from folks as we rolled along with 1 sleeve flapping wildly on my jacket...). Coming up the Kilmog was something I'll never forget.

Next day I decided "fuck this", whipped off the sling, caught a bus back to CHCH, picked up the Kat and went back to Dunedin and we carried on. The shoulder aches a bit in the cold now but it was worth it not to go another metre on the back of that piece of shit.

First and last time I ever pillioned

Can't believe no-one has mentioned a road legal enduro bike yet, well maybe the DR650, but they luxury compared with the likes of a Yammy WRF or KTM EXC. Handlebar position is good but those seats..... Noooo.

All you roadies are going soft.
