Most fun with your clothes on?

What is the most fun you have had with our clothes on (you know what I mean)? Was it on a motorcycle?

For me it was - it was when I did the Barstow to Vegas desert race. The BtoV was run annually and was the oldest dirt bike long distance race in the US (maybe anywhere?). As a result it had a special nostalgia/folk lore in US motorycling. It was about 160miles and had everything...... flat nanna dry lake beds, knee deep sand washes, endless whoops, boulder strewn moonscapes, steep climbs and drop-offs.........everything.

I did it in the mid 80s (can't remember the exact year). There had been much speculation in the motorcycle press in the months leading up to that year's race that it might be the last ever. The greenies had discovered a rare lizard (or frog or something similar) in the area the race was run and were claiming the race was threatening its extinction. A bunch of no-good motorcyclists verses a tiny lizard - we didn't stand a chance!

Because of the race's imminent demise everyone decided to do it that year. There were bloody thousands of us - all making the most of the last chance. What a hoot!

As it turned out the race was run the following year, but access was withdrawn to most of the best parts of the course, which turned it largely into a gravel/dirt road ride. Needless to say it was cancelled for good after that.

I always have fun when I'm riding a (any) motorcycle, but that was the most fun!

Hard to say. There have been lots of great times (a good many on a bike...). Perhaps the greatest thrill for me was when I took the controls of a plane for the first time. Awesome feeling of freedom and power. If it wasn't so expensive I'd spend all my free time up in the air instead of on the road.

My first track day at Taupo earlier this year was awesome, i was grinning ear to ear. However, Skiing waste deep dry pow pow with my best mate and my big bro in perfect weather was truely insane. To top it off we got a surf in the next day

Any trip on the bike is a good one. It's hard to pick one favourite, but the ride into Milford Sound has to rate up there!

dunno, to many things i do that are fun, probably surfing big waves is one of the best, it's hard to describe the feeling, but in motorbike terms i guess it's like your speeding along right on the edge of your limits and you know one little mistake and your going to get smashed, really exciting and awesome when you make it out the otherside, bombing a massive hill on my snowboard is pretty good too, as is hitting 12000rpm on the vt, gotta love that sound!

I've had a lot of fun on a bike, but the most fun with lots of clothes on would have to be codriving in a rally car - best rally would be the Hawke's Bay Rally in 1999 with Shane Wetzel in a Toyota Levin. We lost all but fifth gear on stage seven - but still finished. I also had a great time in the Gisborne Rally the year before with another driver - until we barrel rolled and wrote off the car! I also did another rally in a Subaru WRX - great car, wimpy driver - you can hear him going "ooh!" in parts on the video!

And a few runs with Joe McAndrew (three time national rally champion) weren't too shabby either!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

By the underwhelming response, one would almost suspect people don't have much fun with their clothes on.
It is better to have ridden & crashed than never to have ridden at all

Picking up a friend on my big shiney new (day old motorcycle) and taking them for a sunset run down the coast.

Then later, when I dropped her to her parents and got called in for coffee... her mum saw my hands and took her into the kitchen and went on a huge rant "you can't be doing romantic things with him he's maaaarried! Didn't you look for a wedding ring" rah rah rah

Even though we are friends and have been for ages.
Anyways, that run was a beautiful run, and I was having laughing fits in the lounge because I could hear the ranting and raving going on in the kitchen...

    Twas a most entertaining afternoon

most fun with my clothes on is watching a bird take hers off in front of me...
but a month contiki tour through the states was one of the best things ive done on my way over to the u,k.
was awesome trip and i will say that the americans you meet over there that dont come here are all pretty cool.
not like some of the loud mouth cocks that come here for holidays and are so loud and whinging.
no offence towards any americans here.

Give us a break, some of us who have lots of fun with our clothes on are having to think about which was the most fun.

You don't want a lot of posts starting with "On second (/third/fourth/...) thoughts, there was the time when..." do you?
    Motorbike Camping for the win!

I went to the Ohakune rally one year with Joe and his crew (he wasnt racing).. He led us out to the arse-end of nowhere on a special stage, and declares that the best crashes will be seen from this corner.. He was right :-P

Fun times. Nice bloke to get on the piss with.
