Yes mate you copped a bit of (expected) flack for that.
Seriously though, if you want a deicent exhaust that doesn't weigh a ton and actually works
AND YOU ARE WILLING TO PART WITH A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF CASH call Chris Pickett in Titirangi 817 9500. He will sort you out.

I still can't figure out why motorbike exhausts are so expensive. They can't be that expensive to manufacture, after all.

Sounds just like another excuse for money. Could just buy one of these and polish it so it looks nice, then pay a muffler shop to weld on the brackets for the specific bike.

Ever looked in to building mufflers that flow well and don't sound like poo? A huge amount of scientific babble is what it takes. (I understand little to none of it)

Go the fart cannon though, put it on the Gixxer?

On the other hand, my VT250 with twin pipes, two standard mufflers that had the restrictor plates removed and were straight through, made the best power out of all the muffler set ups I tried. go the home made shit.

I don't see the point paying mega dosh for a slip on though, that's a bit derp.

Do it. Your bike has fuck all power to start with so what have you got to lose? A friend of mine had one side of a Ducati 900SS Arrow exhaust system on his FXR150 and it sounded awesome. Didn't go terribly shit either, ran fine and used to crackle and pop on the over run going down hills. Everyone at rowing thought it was fucking awesome.

    Buy this, make it work.

The guy has a good reputation as far as you get what you pay for but a 150cc single is hardly gonna blow it to pieces.

Otherwise, if you're a rich kid and daddy pays for everything, convince him you need one of these.

Actually - this is a full system, for under $500 NZD. Reputable brand and will more than likely give you a power increase once you get a freer flowing air filter and have your fueling adjusted to suit.
