I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
Can't argue with that!
The MC17 and MC19j were stickered as Hurricances, exactly the same reason why the Ninja name took off, idiots think the name sounds the the one on dad's mates ZX10R or whatever.
The Hurricane moniker was used on the late 80's CBR1000, so Honda did a Kawasaki and started sticking that name on small, shit bikes.
That's an MC17, a bit earlier than the one in question. We got plenty of them here.
Yeah but Kawasaki did a real good job at calling things Ninja. You could buy a 500w electric quad that was stickered "ninja" or a ZX9R!
The NightHawk, Hurricane and Fireblade never has prime children tv space.
Besides they all copied the Poms, with their Shadows, Cubs and Tigers.

Basically what it comes down to is marketing and branding.
If you want people to become invested in something, give it a name... that effectively gives it a 'life', something that people can rally around.
Sometimes a model designation itself, if it rolls off the tongue suitably, like R1, can be enough... but if you want to be able to bank on it, call it something... Fireblade, Panigale, VMAX, Hypermotard, Hurricane.
The automotive industry has known this since forever, and the tech companies have been smart enough to pick up on this too... gone are the days of buying a computer called PCX-1105T... now it's all Envy, Galaxy, etc etc.
But be careful what you choose... calling a bike something like 'Gladius' is a good way to kill it off... you might as well just name it 'Vagina' and be done with it.
Fucking Pajero!

I think the Hurricane decal makes it a Hurricane.
You should get a decal set for a CBR250RR, then put the extra two Rs next to your existing one. You'll have the only CBR250 Triple R in existence!
