If the number plate was Gay300 I would have lost it real quick. I think the GAY series of number plates are coming up soon.
I've had my GasGas250 for nearly 7 years - it never let me down. After 71 rides (including enduros XC and MX) I rebuilt the engine - the cylinder bore was in perfect nick. It still runs great today and I suppose I'll have to get off my arse and sell it. I ran the new bike in on saturday at the local MX track and went out with the boys to check out organising a trail ride at Orongorongo Station ( coming up sometime after lambing) The Gasser handles great with beautiful suspension but is jetted a bit rich and the clutch is really noisy when disengaged in neutral. The head needs retorquing too so some work to be done before this weekends berm buster.

You will find plenty of tips and suggestions on jetting over here:

If you have the AS-II carb the bikes are trickier to jet than the older AS-I.

I have the NEDJ needle in my 2010 300 with 38mm AS-II carb.
It seems good, no more 1/8-1/4 throttle rich burble.

More worrying was the sticky plate on the back of his wagon bearing Fukushima Motors

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
