Sort of ...the exaust port needs a bit more care with the tools you use though.

But if your missus calls you "the reamer" ... I think it's a good thing.

I'm muchly aware of these things, but I do believe he is right in terms of, err, terminology if one was to, say, polish an exhaust port.
I 'll keep calling it port work though (hookers love port work)

easy to replace mate, the manual's pretty straight forward... Torque wrench helps get it right, i didnt use one and had to retighten after first ride. http://www.bits4bikes.co.nz/parts/honda/625.aspx

First time back on in ages. So I'd go with the xr280 option but that's just cos it's what I got, she's older('88) but still goes well. I think its better than the 400 but again I'm biased.

one thing i really like about the XRr's is they are relitively easy to work on, love the basic wiring, i do most things on mine myself if i get stuck i ring a mechanic mate who's been great for advice.

FACT 1: POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO.

    eg.
    108 Kgs : 250cc @20 hp = Unhappy BIG-Guy

    ''Modified'' 250cc +$$$$ + noise + extra fuel usage @ 18hp = BIG-Guy crying.:

    ON THE OTHER HAND:

    >400cc + BIG-Guy =

So a >400 uses less fuel than a modded 250?

I'd split the difference myself and get a 350...

FACTS: THESE ARE INDISPUTABLE. MEASURED AND TABLED ....personally and XRJohnny.

    1/ A 2005 DRZ 250 uses ....10%....MORE FUEL....than a 2005 DRZ 400 SM. ( DRZ 400SM.....27Km/L on ADV.....30Km/L on SH1...)

    2/ A 1600 Capri uses MORE fuel than a 2000 OHC Capri.

....don't seem right, does it.........but it is......

......why is it so, Norty ?
    .................................................. .................................................. ....................................

One cannot get a 350, unless you go to the previous Century....but am willing to be enlightened
