Thumbs up Greta Heights Dirt bike Park

    Hi All

Went to the new Greta Valley ride park today, "Greta Heights Dirt Bike Park", what a cool place , trail riding with a good track, main loop of approx 15 Kms and family loop as well.

MX Track for the speedy boys and girls.

Some harder enduro deviations going in and some stuff for the Graham Jarvis riders.

There is Native bush over the back hills with all sorts of treasures hidden in there, I think there will be some technical stuff going in there too.

Typical Greta Valley country, nice gullies, creeks, hills, excellent land scape for this sort of thing.

Spoke to Kerry Brown (good bastard) he is looking at putting a trials area in too so entertainment for every one.

Check out myrides.co.nz http://www.myrides.co.nz/trail-rides-xidc53532.html for the details.

I am sure the more it gets used the more Kerry will put into it so the better it will get, I am definitely going back.

I took the GPS for a ride on the Gasa to see where it all went, I have attached a pic.

Gee thats just behind the new sub division right?
Remember them talking about it in the pub 5 odd years ago, when I was living up there.
Thought it was just all talk. But heck this is good, and not far from a parts supply too...

Yes I live close to the Mak so it is convenient to ride there but same old, same old does get a bit boring and yes hills are fun, especially when you throw creeks and native bush in with it.

Keep an eye out here, I will post something on here or myrides.co.nz

Sounds good. Saw that up on myrides and wondered about it myself.

Is the motocross track novice friendly?

I went for a quick spin around the track but I saw some rocks and banks and I got side tracked so didnt finish the MX track complete but answer your question yes novice friendly and I am sure the faster boys would really enjoy the hills and jumps
