    Agro biker copper in Chch

LMFAO... sore the funniest shit today..... A bike copper was on the side of the rd and a fella on a push bike with no lid on was bikeing towards him, the copper put his arms up so the cyclist weaved out to avoid him.... We weaved to the center of the rd to avoid the cyclist... well bugger me the copper on the bike ran at the cyclist grabed him hauling his arse to the ground causing him to tumble head fist... looked like a sweet gutsa..... LOL... the cyclist got up and knocked the copper to the ground ......... hehehehe at that point we lost view of it all.

Now the copper should not have done that however thats what I would have done.... and that laddies and gents is why I am not a copper

LMFAO...saw the funniest thing today, this guy tried to tell this story but all that came out was a garbled bunch of quasi-cohesive words that made a small amount of sense but still left alot to the imagination.

Guess you had to be there...

Someone needs to tell this ploddy that he is there to uphold the law. That he is NOT the law. Hope the plonker gets right in the shit for that as its just plain friggin a dense thing to do!

I've seen that same guy apprehend another cyclist the other day, but he stopped. I've also seen him parked on Durham St in the morning observing traffic, watched him pull over a new Rangie. And I've also seen him lights blazing in my rear view mirrors on my bike just after I accidently pulled a wheelie over Bealy Ave. Wasn't too impressed despite it being a onearmed wheelie and all, what gives with that?

Poor Cyclist, he's probably got a very hefty fine & court appearance coming up.
If you saw it happen, you may the vital evidence the cyclist needs. You know how cops twist the story. This guy may be up on assaulting an orifice.
Silly bugger though, all over a helmet!

Perhaps there was more too the stop than just a lack of helmet offence.?

LMFAO! So let me get this straight- Mr Copper wants to stop the cyclist to give him a ticket for not wearing a helmet, as it is illegal to NOT wear a helmet as you may suffer serious head injuries if you fall off. So his ingenious strategy for stopping said cyclist when he refused to stop, was to TACKLE HIM, causing him to go over the handle bars, potentially causing serious head injuries???? Oh fuck, thats funny!

In all seriousness D and Sniper- you guys should head down to the local cop shop and file a report. The cyclist probably got himself arrested.

D- your avatar is bloody funny. I likes it I does!

I have only seen the one, a middle aged guy. And regarding the wheelie incident, can not comment unfortunately.

Nah, in all honesty, what I saw entitled it to be the cyclist fault. I feel no pain for him

So, if you do something that Plod doesn't like, it'll be OK if he throws a torch or baton at you? :eyepoke:
I think the sooner the cops hire more one-legged, asthmatic, dullards the safer we'll all be.

It's quite pragmatic, really. A practical demonstration of the importance of wearing your helmet.

I wonder if he said to the cyclist, "See! That's what happens when you don't wear a helmet. Some bastard could tackle you to the ground, causing you to hit your head!"
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
