    Great news. I'd just take the bike back & not draw their attention to you.

    Was it visible from the road? Or was other crap taken?

    nah it was tucked away in a garage, not sure all the details but obviously it was an address of interest to the cops already. And failing that the offender appears on crystal clear CCTV taking the bike.

    I retrieved the bike from the police tonight, missing a mirror, rego, wof and number plate but good news....my ADV sticker is still attached! I am therefore adequately licensed for tomfoolery.

    It started after a bit and seems ok otherwise.
