Waikato ADV rides!

This thread has been tried before with not much interest

, but i thought it might be worth another try.

Weather looking good for this coming weekend, thinking of a ride up the coast to port waikato and back if anyone is interested

Be good to get a few more bikes along other than the normal trio

I could be a starter to. Got a couple of other things on the to do list & spent more money than I thought I would but I'll keep an eye on the thread and see how I go.. It'd be a good short ride.

Not this weekend, but we should make an effort to get over Waikato way more often.

Or we could string together some Rotorua-ish roads some time, if you wanted to come and visit us

Either Day would work for me and weather is looking good for both, i can work in with what suits the majority.
If we cant sort a ride for this weekend, there is a trail ride on sunday i will attend.

Yep, my bike hasnt had a run since MMMMM either.Been damaging myself on the MX bike instead.

Any room for a Jaffa, we usually hang out in Café's on the waterfront but could be keen for Saturday Morning, where do you leave from and can a 950 do the ride on Dual sport tires

Always room for a JAFFA, we can probably even find a cafe for you in Port Waikato or Nikau Caves so you dont go through any withdrawal symptoms.

No problem with the 950 on dual sport tyres, all gravel roads apart from an optional play on the sand dunes at port waikato.

Yep Saturday is sounding like the best option, So saturday it is

Will have to come up with a plan to meet the northerners somewhere on the way.

We need a few more YKATO riders or we will be out numbered by JAFFA`s

Saturday is good for me. Just need a plan for meet up. Could do a northern ride/group and meet up with the south group for lunch. Or a more direct route and meet earlier.
