Brisbane to Cameron Corner n back

After Digtree we headed to Tibooburra and more pub accommidation

A lil time to explore here and went to a lookout for a 360 view of the area.

The previous day after Dylan rode the Husky stewart offered me a ride, i did the rest of the trip on it.....

Did a pub crawl later in the evening to hte other pub in town.

Another long day we lunched in Burke and carried onto A small town(pub & campground).

We got to Hebel after 600 or so ks and the first thing the owner said was 'I'll bring you a 6 pack while you settle in' Sweet!

So, after the 2nd one......

A great night & meal here and after, Stewart & I wandered over to the pub for a quite couple expecting the rest to follow. Well we didn't see most as only Paula & the kids showed as the rest had hit the hay!!

A good chat with the publican who had a ST1300(?) and Canam Spyder out back, complained about how much his wife used the Spyder

As the publican wasn't up we headed to Lightning Ridge(an opal town) for fuel and brecky.

The girls and Dylan headed home from here while we took the long way home trying to make Tenterfield, however with the light fading we got as far as a small town called Emmaville where another great night was had.

The Kiwis won the pool hands down, cheers Elwyn.

From Hebel it was head for the hills and home. All was going well til Elwyn had a bit of a moment and came off, other than a bruise or two and a gouged fuel tank he was ok.

I did look for signs of life before I took the camera out.....honest

And after a (bloody)brisk ride home on the seal, we'd made it.

After the first 130k we didn't have any real trouble other than a few close called with wildlife and the odd nav error. All the bikes and ute stayed together. Food and accommidation were good and other than some early evening riding keeping a lookout for roos the whole trip was great fun in good company.

My DR was chewing thru fuel way faster than most but that turned out to be tight exhaust valves so she's all go for the next adventure

Finished off the week with Jo's birthday party on Saturday night. Sunday was spent cleaning and maintance and a quick, mad, heart pounding ride on a Husberg 570!!

Gary the Goat Wisperer will remain unexplaned.......Must be a tauranga thing

Big THANKS to Jo & Stewart for all the work you guys put in looking after us and the bikes, the use of the ute and taking Paula with you. And the ongoing storage of all our bikes, parts etc
