by the time LAMS gets rolled out I will can (and will) have my full so there is no point.

I have got myself into (and sometimes out of) trouble fast enough on my scorpio, having an extra ~15 horsies would not have been a good thing for me.

The good ol' Scorpios eh! Yeah they're a neat bike, but once I can find a job ()I'm going to save up for something bigger. The Scorpio is good up until about 110-120 and then that's about all you'll ever get from it. It is perfect for round town commuting, but long trips on the open road can be a bit...slow... Even though I'll be on my full I'm only going to consider going to 600cc or so. I quite like the look of naked bikes like the Hornet so here's hoping I'll have one within the next year.

On a bigger bike how much faster will you go on the open road anyway? As long is the group pace is ~110 I can keep up no problems. I just have to plan my overtakes and sometimes have trouble maintaining speed uphill.

Haha, there made for lightweighs mate, Tyler is 47kg, and if you drop them out of the power band (9 to 12,5) they virtualy stop
Hard on clutch's, no power till 9k and do 110km in 1st. Sounds like a swarm of wasps when the flag drops

    Yes and no.
The only major system to get running is the front brakes now. But I tried to start it the other day and it didn't go. Battery will need charging and then I might have to spend a while diagnosing engine problems. Then it's putting the track stuff on, sliders etc.
