Happy to follow someone at 115kph all day bearing in mind the 'first in line, pays the fine' rule (which is all well and good until the fine allocators come up from behind you).

Grow older but never grow up
Ride in the clear space behind or move briskly up to the clear space ahead and try to stay away from any other idiot that might try to do my thinking for me!
So far it's worked OK for me! (Well, for 58 years anyway!)
Ah could do that all day, ah could (apologies to Geoff Boycott but I'm watching cricket...)
And then there was that time when I was passed by a 4 wheel drive...towing a trailer...with a bike on it...I'm slow.
me with this,
Im an aggressive rider, I don't sit behind cages, cant see the road properly behind them,
Cars tend to make potholes , oil slicks and white lines not appear till too late, fuck, Im off......
and behind cars I am invisible to other traffic heading my way, or at intersections.
They could pull out and side impact me thinking there is just the car to pass before they can pull out. SMIDSU.
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

I wish I was a big tough biker so I could use words like "cager".
What made you convert from a classic bike (that actually looks pretty sweet) to a budget commuter learners bike?
There is also a reason that all classic bikes under 660cc are going to be learners legal, the technology back then is underwhelming compared to a late model Gixxer. 600cc bikes these days have double the horsepower and weigh a lot less than a classic.
A gixxer is slimmer, can filter better, can corner better (a cruiser can't get much lean before it bottoms out), accelerates faster, brakes faster.
