Suzuki GSXR 600 L1 Exhaust Kit

    Hey Guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place...

I am interested in changing my pipe on my bike and found something that I really like, the issue is that I have no idea where (or if) I could get something like that in NZ.. What I'm after is something like:
    http://www.racetaylormade.com/wordpr...ki-gsxr-600750

Anybody know a shop or something that has something similar or could perhaps make something like this?

    Thanks guys
    B

powersport.co.nz sell Taylormade exhausts. They don't have one listed on their site for the 600L1 though.

The TM ones I've seen in the flesh are what I would call dubious quality. See if you can find a Yoshi Japan pipe (not a Yoshi USA one).

Thanks guys, yeah only after I posted did I find out about power sport, just waiting for them to get back to me...
Also started looking at the Jardine range...

Yoshi sadly only got pipes that need to bolt on to the pillion pegs, so not an option right now, want to try and get a clean look with as little pipe as possible..

I think Harris do some tasty minimalist tubular Ti hangers... but you're going for the streamlined MotoGP look? (that assumption is made from you mentioning you were looking at the Taylor Made pipes)

I really like the look of the TM pipes; I'm just not prepared to ride a bike that loud, or with such poor quality carbon work, or with a pipe that I've seen blow itself apart (actually that's an exaggeration, I've never seen anyone leave it that long). Too much money to have to rebrace it internally before I've even used it. Now... having said that, they're a small company, so I expect they keep evolving their product, I just don't want to be part of the product development. But yeah, they look fabulous, could be worth it if you're good with your hands and don't mind a bit of mucking about.

Have a look at Akrapovic pipes. Sure they're big dollars, but I've never seen one where the quality wasn't top notch... they've a good reputation for making power too, and supposedly more bikes in MotoGP run Akrapovic made pipes that the advertising badges would lead you to believe. Lovely kit, definitely worth a look.

Mivv also have that MotoGP look, again pricey, but quality generally is. http://www.mivv.it/en/news_apri.asp?cn=1990
