Im going to buy shares in crc.
I heard they are working on a car care spray that slows the return speed of a radar ping.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.

All of these things are allowed for by tolerance.

Haven't read all of the terribly important scientific theories, but I'm confident that anyone I ping at 10 kmh over 50 is exceeding 50. Given that that's what the charge is, problem solved.

A man, charged with exceeding 50, defends it on the basis that the curvature of the earth means that the radar got him at 62, when he was only actually doing 61.

Sounds like a guilty plea to me.

If the curvature of the earth was the only confounding factor, and the radar got him at 62, he would actually be going faster, so ping him for 63.

Thanks for splitting the thread too admin person.

Out of interest, rastuscat, what's the law surrounding getting knee down on the road? I've heard it's seen as "racing"?

    Nice pics.

No law against it. Trouble is, last time I got me knee down, I ended up married.

    Nuff said.

Cool. So a bloke gets charged with exceeding 50. Popo stands up and says the guy was doing 62.

Defense opens its case, bloke stands up and sez the Popo is wrong coz he was doing 63.

    Guilty.
