    Gimme a break Drew.

I'm still trying to come to terms with someone who clearly thinks so highly of their own riding - but still can't manage to stay upright.

    No, weak.....your example that is.

I don't remember ever taking someone to task for simply dropping their bike on the grass verge because they were too weak to hold it upright.

But that's not what happened in Dangerous' case, is it?

Settle down, 27 years upright is not something I can comprehend arsehole. Pick holes in him, not me!

Yeah, fair nuff Katman, put my wooden spoon away now.

I did find myself the roads although dry were greasy where D was riding.
I was not riding outside safe limits, and have reasonably new tyres on the XS11, and the front end & brakes, just serviced, (forkseals)
Yet I fount a lot of the road had a "slippery" feel to it. I had my back wheel on the edge of that loose feel twice around corners I have taken at quite a lot higher speed than i was traveling on Sunday, The conditions were very misleading, and thats well may, have caught several riders out over the weekend. As i believe D was not the only one to have a wee lie down.
Which I mention, in here as that road can often look as if it could be fast, yet can be very greasy , even on a hot day when you would expect it to be dry. Especially the section between birdlings flat and little river, where the sun gets to late in the morning.

Haha, but was D trying to say his bike just fell off the stand?

Why don't you fellahs just tell us exactly what happened then we might all learn from his mistake?

Or at least be able to have a better laugh over it.
    Cheers

you probably would not, seeing as your riding on a far Superior chassis than I am, dont really think it has anything to do with how hard anyone was trying . You probably have a higher quality tires too, and D did say that he was riding on old tires, which may not have helped him.My tires are what i can afford, so also would not be as grippy as yours.
Could that be another problem thats not being addressed enough by summer riders, tires that are several years old, with plenty of tread , pass a WOF, but are hard as retreads, no flex, no grip, I can understand that bikes that are only ridden on weekends, and sunny days could have this problem, rider being totally unaware of the danger he has unintentionally put himself in.

Inside the first twenty minutes maybe, but even old as fuck tyres come up to temp and stick alright eventually. Besides, that still puts the blame square on the shoulders of the rider.

    Katman's a dick.

Just because I'm on a roll with getting everyone pissed off lately.
