    Roger.

    Hope this worked.

Remember, it wasn't staged, it's not too exciting, but it shows that the stop wasn't unsafe, as earlier suggested.

To be honest, the comment I'm expecting is why the hell did he stop. He peaked at 178, but if he'd just wound it on, I probably wouldn't have been able to track him down.

Interestingly, since then, I've gone out of my way to make sure he wasn't hammered by the court. He was fined, but no disq. A disq would have disproportionately adversely affected a job he had coming up, so I plead his case, and he kept his licence.

    Just FYI.

Please advise the parking law I broke. I can't think of one.

Still, your glass half empty attitude personifies the rift between your view and mine.

Remember, it's your democratic right to disagree, and I support that. But really, I wasn't illegally parked, you're scraping the bottom of the barrel there. I always look at whether I could write a ticket for the things I do, keep it legal, that sort of thing.

Just out of interest, there is an exemption granted for the purpose of enforcement. It can be used in certain circumstances, but I wasn't using it, coz I was legally parked.

    Donuts.

I just wanna start this post by saying, Scuba Steve is a dick.

However, you are not allowed to park within 5 meters of an intersection. The limit line of the corner you are on is at your front wheel, and you made the R1 fag park right on the intersection.

    6 metres, actually.

The intersection is defined as that area contained within the prolongation of the lateral boundary lines of the contributing access roads.

I wasn't within 6 metres of that, nor was the bike I stopped.

Still, never let the facts stand in the way of a good whinge. Not an attack on you, just pointing out that I know the rules, and I didn't break them.

Let's start another thread if we are going to hammer the parking laws. It's pretty droll, and doesn't deserve the space on this thread.

So, the rounded edges don't count then? Weird.

No they don't. To make the law enforcble they set a defined area, as outlined. If they had included the curved line it'd change every time a road marking crew turned up to work with a hangover.
