Remember, it's your democratic right to disagree, and I support that. But really, I wasn't illegally parked, you're scraping the bottom of the barrel there. I always look at whether I could write a ticket for the things I do, keep it legal, that sort of thing.

Just out of interest, there is an exemption granted for the purpose of enforcement. It can be used in certain circumstances, but I wasn't using it, coz I was legally parked.

Depends on the charge laid. He was charged with Exceeding 100. NOT driving at a dangerous speed. No mandatory disqualification but the fine was quite nasty.

He appeared and pled guilty at first call, and outlined all the stuff he could to save his licence. The JP could have taken it, but didn't.

I wasn't within 6 metres of that, nor was the bike I stopped.
