Brilliant, some of that made for funny reading. Much action out there today? Or did you give yourself the day off after yesterdays haul?

Is it true ... ALL motorcycles are required to have their headlights on ... or is it just the ones produced after the first of January, 1980 .. ???

Hmmm well thats the last time i get all spruced up and poodle around waiting for mr policeman to pull me up... They had all gone home. I was tempted to stop at taitap to say hi but had only just got on the bike again, maybe next time... As long as its only for a bike/licence check and not that SPEED check, ok?
So which one are you? I dont wanna call your mate rastus, he might get a bit agro about that

So, I know I have asked this before cos it aint the first time you have grabed several licenceless riders, what is the main reason
A, lost due to excess of demerits
B, a one time only exceeding 40k over
    C, drink driving
    D, never had a licence
    E, other reason

F, Had a motorcycle licence in the early 1980s, was out of the country for 3 years when the new licencing system came into force. When he/she came back his/her Australian car licence didn't have motorcycle on it, so his/her current NZ licence doesn't have motorcycle either. Yes it Does apply to one rider I know.

I lost 4 different classes of licence that way.

Nah, nobody working Op Mataki this weekend. It was my duty weekend, but I'm the boss, so I gave myself the weekend off.

Next weekend we're committed to working the Elite Cycling Nationals, so no Op Mataki then either. Still, there's every chance the Highways guys get out there.

Out of interest, I have a letter S on the rear of my work helmet. My lads have numbers, that's how to tell if it's me.

    For Sir?

I'm thinking, when they pull you over and you try to run around behind them... it may not go so well
