Small update. This morning The kids and I walked all the way around the ward with Sharon. Shes coming right so quickly now. She will be on her way home soon. I will be stopping updates when that happens as she will be able to do it herself. She still has a long way to go but shes well on the way.

Fabulous news! It's good to hear that she's progressing fast, but as others have said - don't overdo it. Great to hear she's walking already.

    Latest and last update.

    Sharon is coming home tomorrow.

As long as she can prove to the Occupational therapist that she can cope at home shes staying.

She can move about with the aid of walkers etc. Will be a long road ahead but this is a huge step.

From now on she can speak for herself.

Sadly you are correct Mark, with an external fixater on one hand and and wrist brace on the other with not being allowed to use them to weight bare cheesecakes are on hold for a wee while.

I came home today and passed the physio and occupational therapist tests so am now officially discharged

Rob has done well, I recognised my house it was my cat that didn't recognise me
