    Advice please

    Hi there,

I have had my learners for a couple of years now, I got it went riding to uni everyday on my GN250, but since then - have sold it and haven't ridden too much since.
Have the itch again to get back into the scene and although I only have my learners I put a lot of K's ont he GN so fairly confident.

Basically what I was wondering was if anyone had any suggestions on my next bike. I want a cruiser that I can keep for a fair while but is still going to give me a nice ride while staying under the limits of the new LAMS list.

The one bike that has stood out for me is the Yamaha XVS650 - it seems to be what I'm looking for as a cruiser style, yet with decent enough go to keep me happy on those holiday cruisers. Any thoughts on that particular motorcycle? Or any suggestions for me to look at which might spark my interest?

    Thanks for the help

Seen a few 400cc and 500cc cruisers on TM, Kawa EN500 for example, or the Honda Steed (which is also on the LAMS list), there were 400cc and 600c models if I recall.

    Thumbs up

I own an XV Thou and the wife runs a Nonda NV 400 Custom, we're both happy with them, but would take one of those EN500's like a shot. Baby Vulcan's with great engines and not too pricey from new.
Hands down a better bike than the Yammy, lighter, faster, more economical, the whole nine yards. Take em both for a test ride and see what you think, after all that's what really counts.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
