also check to see if you need other heat shields for after market as they have them listed in equipment book they are carbon fibre and say they are for titanium cans

Thanks Shadow - what time does the Ruapuna have a go day kick off? Do you know if theres an entry-fee for spectators?

    Cheers

Mat_c - I would very much doubt if there's a charge for spectators (however someone from down there should be able to confirm that for you - Kickaha? Dangerous?? K14???)

If Peter F is there say "hello" from me, then ask him about his bike/pipes.

had first go at track on superduke.Awesome handles realy well, dosnt chatter into corners you can get your feet dragging most corners so knee down heaps good acceleration nothing to full on that is going to rip rear wheel out from under you with still respecting that it is a 990cc and gassed up in lower gears it would. there was only one corner that i felt the front not fully planted and that was under full throttle coming out in 2nd gear apart from that felt good. im no racer but had it in a slide twice coming onto main straight but felt in control i think thanks to a great suspension package. awesome brakes good engine braking not overkill though realy comfy to go fast as you are able to move around heaps easy. Have to say another 20 odd horse power would be good not because it needs it for the style of bike but just so r1s gsxr 1000 dont get so much on you on the straights its just to much to pull in. i felt (some might disagree) that is held its own in the infield and in alot of cases was a bit quicker (might pay for that comment) but anything with too much of a straight connected to it they get away. Aaron and the r1 that passed him didnt get passed till at least half way to 3/4s down straight which i thought was quite good for an unfaired v twin into headwind with me feeling like im almost be riiped off bike with no where to hide. im not giving my top speed down straight as the the name Nanna will come out of this, it was over 200k. Im now stoked with my choice in bike as it gives me all the fun factor that i need. i highly reccomend superduke for road and track. ill see what its like to tour on dec when i go up north to coast to coast

You had a bloody awesome run. Well done, I thouroughly enjoyed watching your run

And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds

That's a photo of my Super Duke with the Akropovic's that Sensei posted, no heat sheild fitted GF doesn't get too hotter arse, not that she gets to go on long trips (it's my bike). They sound Farkin awesome especially on the over-run and on the upchange @ the right rev's. It's amost excellent bike thus far, still sorting the suspension out. The side stand has been ground down and the RHS header has a dent and roadrash, may have something to do with my riding style, waiting until the apex and tipping her in. The rear tires basically shagged with 3500km's on it. Just bought the tank bag to throw a few spare ltrs in for those longer trips, could'nt justify the $1200/ltr for the 18ltr carbon fibre tank.

Blah Blah : sounds Crap / Handles crap . Got the grinder out on the side stand & run over a a packet of Cigarette lying on the road to scratch & dent the header > Tell the true < Still cann't face been blown off the road at 180k's seeing me wheelie past him

    Thumbs up Shadow

Just ignore Sottie, he does have a small helmet size and i can piss further than him .I've set the suspension to the sports setting and then softened the rebound one click front and rear, may do one more click front and rear, I was grounding out on the factory settings.
