I'm a motorcyclist and I have a licence to prove it. I just don't happen to have a motorcycle atm. When I buy my next motorcycle I will still be a motorcyclist. If I happen to buy a Spyder, (Not that it's likely, as I don't think they're available here,) I will still be a motorcyclist.

I am also an electrician by trade. Does this mean if I decide to get a job gardening I am no longer an electrician?

Yes. You would be an ex-electrician. And a gardener. Same as you are an ex-motorcyclist right up until the time you get another one.

If you have a shed you are a gardener.

But, just to keep this endless thread going round in more circles, if a spyder is not a motorbike, which would appear to be the general consensus from the posts I don't skim over due to the writer taking things way too seriously then, by rights, the person in charge of said vehicle cannot be called a motorcyclist. They are a spyder rider.

This is not to be confused with being a cider drinker.

Nope, no gardens on the property the shed is on, just a fucking big building and lots of concrete,
Does that make me a janitor?

Wrong again! If I was an ex electrician I would no longer be able to legally perform electrical work, as my licence would be revoked.

If I was an ex biker I would no longer be able to legally ride a motorcycle as my licence would be revoked.

I AM STILL AN ELECTRICIAN AND I AM STILL A MOTORCYCLIST whether or not I currently own a motorcycle!

What part of that don't you understand?
