    Saw doozy today.

Bike 'A' overtakes a milk tanker (probably empty going by its rate of progress) and crosses double yellow line, "Hmm, OK" I think, moderate visibility.

Bike 'B' follows bike 'A' down a dip and up the other side.

Only now apart from being on the wrong side of the yellow lines he is passing the truck cab 40 or less metres from a blind crest, it's a well-laden bagger heading home from a rally - probably hung-over but certainly tired).

I would not like to think of the outcome should any other vehicle been coming the other way - at least I would have got a really good view of the resulting carnage - like I really need more of THAT!.

And the bikes stopped just before the next town some 18kn away, appeared they were waiting for a mate...

What's the deal with that, do you "have a word with them" if they're doing dumb shit or do you need your hat

I used to once upon a time, never at the side of the road (I got sick of the WTF attitude - plus I don't need the hassle at a rally).
Now it's over the phone, that way they have no idea who 'dobbed them in'.

I'm sick of seeing such dumb shit (maybe they thought "Ye-ha , showed that fuckin' slow Harley rider eh!").

Normally dealt with by sending them a ticket, one with the maximum demerits I can muster up. Wankers.

Funny how their story differs so much from fact when they think 'somebody else' dobbed them in.
Funny how their story crumbles when I tell them the person that made the complaint was me, not some random member of the public with a cell-phone.

I bet you have to resist saying what you'd like to and remain professional about it!

Just occassionally, when I see shit happen on the road I sometimes think "Fuck - I wish I could stop them and give them a ticket ... "

But then I'd have to put up with al the other shit you popos do ...

But hey - I appreciate the sentiment ..

Happens to us sensible riders on Jap bikes as well...for apparently doing many clicks at sensible speeds is just not manly enough for some

Yeah, or you just don't get what others enjoy about bikes.

This link takes you to a compilation of videos of motorbike accidents. They were filmed by Go Pro cameras on bikes and dash cams in cars. Most of the errors in judgement seems to come from riders themselves- this video should be required viewing before you get a motorcycle license. One thing to take from all this might be: the car always wins. Every. Time. Ignore the stupidity of the first thirty seconds or so because what follows is well over an hour of various crashes from around the world coming at about one every ten seconds. Feel like getting your learn on? Watch this:

After 4 mins of this, I had to turn it off! The missus couldn't take me screaming "you stupid cunts" at the screen, any longer!

it's that time again every day you go out onya just seems to happen more at this time of year
as there are more bikes out on the road, but the amount of weather in a cage or on a bike
    are still out there
