    MOTOGP RULE CHANGE

    http://www.mcnews.com.au/motorcycler...rules_june.htm
SADLY THE ABOVE LINK SAYS THE 800CC RULE IS GOING AHEAD , SO GET READY FOR LAP TIMES SLOWER THAN PRIVATEER SUPERBIKES , IF THE BIKES ARE TOO FAST FOR SOME RIDERS IT MAYBE TIME TO RETIRE.

    Arrow Well.

I heard that Rossi was considering changing to a cage (F1?) anyway
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

Now, I don't want to start comparing this and that, but I found it amusing that the top few Superstock bikes would have made the grid in front of some of the GP bikes. A twenty thousand dollar street/race bike is faster than twenty-percent of the GP field. That has to be a kick in the teeth for the team owners/managers of those teams. We've read all year how they are multi- million dollar efforts and they have this and they are GP and they do that and that little Jimmy is so clever and has been working on the design of that motor and little Johnny came up with the chassis that is so great and this guy has been in GP for a million years, etc etc. It must be humbling when any guy on the street can build a bike out of a dealership and go faster. I guess they can say that they are part of the Moto GP circus though.
THE ABOVE IS WRITTEN BY MATT MLADIN FOR SOUP.COM
THESE ARE LIGHTLY MODED BIKES ,ZX10S , GSXR1000S ETC WITH NOBODY RIDERS, AND YET THE MOTOGP STILL WANT TO DO THE 800CC RULE , FACE IT DO YOU WANT TO SEE A BIKE WORTH 2 MILLION DOLLARS GOING SLOWER THAN YOURS WITH A GUY RIDING IT GETTING PAID 5 MILLION TO RIDE IT , NOT ME

I dont think it will make much difference to be honest. Thats only about 47cc per cylinder on a 4 cylinder machine and thats just modified squish. Since most of the tracks are not full throttle tracks anyhow, it really just means they get to open the throttle more for longer.

IF IT HAD NO EFFECT ON SPEED AND POWER THEY WOULDNT HAVE DONE IT , ITS STILL A DROP OF 190CC , 190CC IS LIKE A WHOLE ENGINE FOR SOME BIKES

Come on WINJA, it has always been the case that at some tracks Superbikes have been very close to 500GP/MotoGP times. The 800CC limit will make them harder to ride, not easier. They'll be putting out the same HP figures within 12 months, but they'll be using much more expensive technology to do it.

We'll be back to the era of rear wheel steering, and I for one am looking forward to going back to a situation where top level Superbike riders can't ride the top class MOTOGP bikes competitively.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
