Dayam there's alot of good advise here!!!

Okay so I've checked out all the suggestions so far and the EN500 is already on my whatchlist. The Aquila looks awesome but is somewhat out of by budget. I must say that the S40 didn't really pull my attention due to it's empty appearance in the engine bay but you guys have given me alot to think about. I'm just after something that cfan do 110km/h cumfortably without having to strangle the shit out of it. I'll keep all the suggestions in mind.
    Thanks again.

    Thumbs up

Mate how you getting on with your looking.Been thinking about selling my VS 750 intruder.Dont want too but can only ride one at a time. I can email pics to you as dont know how to upload on here.Mine 87 Inruder with 20000 miles on clock I think will check SHe is a beaut. It on my profile but cant see properly let me know
How far you plannin on going as the intruder range can be cramped on long trips but great fun and fast for short jaunts 200 ks or so .Good off the line speed too and light and agile ,easily haul you ass round even with pillion .I myself extended footpegs and redone seat on its bigger bro an way more comfortable .Should imagine this will be for you too.
    Good luck

Honda Magna 250 (or the Taiwanese OEM version, the Kymco Venox 250) is for big fellas. I'm 6'1" and 110kgs and the Magna/Venox fit me really well physically and aesthetically (didn't look like a Russian circus bear on a kid's bicycle).

Best big 250 cruiser other than the Aquila, the rest are smaller. The Magna's V-twin pulls really well and smoothly too, and I've hit 140kph on a straight and no wind, though 130kph sustained is more usual.

    Go Sushi

I guess u should stick to a Japanese for your 1st bike as it'll have less maintenance cost than the other brands.
