Hi All
Rode the Nut Buster Hard Enduro today behind Oxford, Canterbury, what an awesome event, Big thanks to Steve Grossi, James Petrie, Mark and others who I cant remember names for their many hours of hard work chopping trees, clearing creeks and creating a ramp to ride down a steep shingle Screed.
Was great to see a number of North Island riders come down for the event, talking to them they are all fizzed up about the ride.
72 riders all up including 8 trials bikes, the Trials boys did very well. The event certainly lived up to its name, Hard enduro, it was a combination of hard riding and distance, 24km of very technical riding.
We got up to an elevation of 770 metres, spectacular views, brilliant weather.
Its one of those events where you are so tired in the creeks and you just want to quit but afterwards guys are saying “I will be back” why we say that I have no idea but we do.
I feel thoroughly punished and I have a radiator with a weeeee hole to fix but I have a shit hot day, I am off to the fart sack now, why because I am absolutely F%#KED
I have attached a GPS screen shot of the ride.
