    Anyone got a GSF650k5?

    Hey people,

seriously considering getting one of these beasts.
Just wondering if anyone has ridden one before?
Colemans was the only suzuki shop that had the 650k5 and it hasnt been oiled or anything so i cant ride it less i pay for it.

any feedback would be much appreciated.

    cheers

Yea dont worry I just polished up my seat... for you mr SPB and your SHEEP we will have a royal shagging.

All I know about the GSF's is they are reliable as a brick (well were).

yeah, i've heard they are really reliable. If i get one i'll probably change the front guard to a street fighter fairng, get one of those rear gurad reducer thingies and maybe a nicer looking/sounding pipe. Otherwise it just looks pretty beasty.

I suggest you put your eyes over a used copper coloured SV650S @ Colemans .... I hear its got a really nice M4 titanium full system and its been really well looked after. Ask them to start it up

Is it still there?? They do have an older silver carbed model.

You thought of a TRX850?? Supposed to be a docile bike - worth a test ride I guess.....

i've decided to go for the GSF650 as i'm a trained straight four rider. I do want to test out the SV650 for comparitive reasons... but at the moment im keen on the bandit. Wanna get street fighter front fairing, mirrors with inidicators (like k5 gixxer thou), micron scorched titanium pipe, and a few other 'look nice' and 'go fast' bits. At the moment im putting my pennies away for a set of leathers (nearly there) then its going to be going towards gathering a bigger deposit for getting the new bike.

yep... sounds nice and makes sense... fairly reasonable leap between twins and 4's as I have found. But if you are looking at the GSF650 that would cost around 10k new then why not the Honda CB900 Hornet? might be a better package than the GSF...

when & where you getting your pipe and leathers? I might order some bits from overseas soon and will be visiting HK so might be able to bring some cheap bits back.

getting leathers from devil - second hand belpak ones when he gets his new set, as for the pipe im hoping to pickup a micron end can, of course it will be a while off as if i get the bike i'll be making regular payments which wont leave a lot for extra bits after making sure i've got the money spare for tyres etc when i need them.

The 650 sounds like a great package. Not much more hp than the 600, but much more torque. If you like 4's you won't be that keen on the SV.
PS Anyone have any secret info on K6 Bandit 12's?
