well that's what happens when BMW & others who take short cuts to save a dollar, & it appears to be the 650's that China has had a hand in

    Fixed apparently

Seems it may have had an airlock in the system from the repair work done to fix the oil leak from the water pump oil seal Picking it up tomorrow. Anybody want a hardly used G650GS? I really liked my KTM. The Transalp was awesome but the KTM was my favourite by a big margin and the Queen of the Hobbits liked it better on the back of that than the Transalp. Pity it was so tall, even when lowered. After the KTM, the frumpy German fraulein really didn't have a chance. I see Casbolts have a Transalp just like my old one in immaculate condition. Hmmmmm...

& getting another Transalp would seem a bit like going back to an old girlfriend I actually thought the KTM looked the dogs bollocks. Nice light bike, very predictable and stable, very responsive, fantastic suspension, great brakes, great riding position. The way I had it set up it was pretty much my view of the ideal adventure bike

Cos my short legs couldn't reach the ground unless it was flat, and then it was tippy toes, and that was with the bike lowered

You can get surgery in China to fix that ya know

It'd probably be cheaper & less painful than owning a BMW
