    A set of TKC80's and Awakino Saddle here we come
    The plan is to get a wee 250 for commuting and the more adventerous DRZ, XT, KLX, XR, CRF-L or similar
    Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

    Shame you didn't have a fang on the 800 when I was down there, I'm sure you woulda got one

    I said 800, (oh dear poor Shrek has obviously gotten swamp mud in his eyes ). The 800 has so many advantages over the 650 (imho) and feels half the weight of the 1200's. And note I did not suggest the rattly multistrada, I am sure TIMG wants a bike that can actually go off road.
    Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
