CHRIS BIRCH OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE COACHING
Chris recently completed the 2012 Dakar Rally, has won Red Bull Romaniacs, Roof of Africa, finished top 10 in Erzberg 3 times, won the South African overall National Enduro championship in 2011, and is a 5 times NZ National Enduro overall champion. He is a top performer in enduro racing, and has had several years experience coaching others.
Chris focuses on helping his clients get the most out of their riding – whether this is to improve performance and placing in competition, to beat their mates, or simply to get the most enjoyment from the weekend’s riding.
Getting the right techniques and improving your skills will let you get a lot more enjoyment out of your riding. You’ll be able to ride faster, longer and use a lot less energy and be much safer.
• Basic bike set up
• Correct seated and standing riding position
• Using the clutch, throttle and brakes effectively
• Cornering technique
• Picking good lines
• Logs, bogs, roots, up hills, down hills, sand, whoops, river crossing’s
After riding enduros for over 13 years, and riding internationally since 2007, Chris has picked up many tips, tricks, shortcuts and handy hints that you only get from experience. When you are being coached by Chris, it’s a fantastic opportunity to pick his brains about any riding or bike set up problems you have.
