I've come to a realization recently.
When I first decided to take the leap from 2 smoke MX bikes to a road bike, the choice was based entirely on cheap transport to commute to work in rush hour Auckland traffic.
Over the years I changed my habits in stages:
1. Only taking the bike on sunny days to work.
2. Only taking the cage to work on fridays and driving on weekends, otherwise commuting to work on the bike unless it was really shit weather wise.
3. Commuting on the bike 5 days a week rain or shine, only caging on the weekends.
For the past month now, I have driven my cage only once and when I drive it, I am wishing I was on the bike. So I thought, "why do I even have a car?".
So I'm flicking the 4 wheeler and going 2 wheels exclusive, why the hell not?
-More space in the shed for playing with my motors and other projects.
-Setting up a home Gym.
-Not needing an excuse to jump on the bike and go for a burn on weekends.
Is anyone else wrestling with this decision?
What's holding you back?
