Random question: Can someone borrow my bike for a day? (Welly/Kapiti)

    So lets change this to:

If anyone lives in Pram/Kapiti area and wants to spend some afternoons in my garage teaching me basics about my bike.... BE NICE im a learner hahaha

Beers + Pizza will be supplied

.. after crashing my bike Jan this year, ended up with a torn ACL, which meant surgery and now lots of recovery time.

Have kept my bike and cant WAIT to ride it again, but unfortunately I still have around 5 months recovery to go....

So my brand new bike (has 8 hours TOTAL on a new engine....) has sat there....bored..... since Jan.

I have been starting it up every week or so and letting it idle for a few mins, but I think its about time someone give it a good go for me.

So if you are in the Welly/Kapiti region, are trustworthy and bike savvy can you please get in contact!

Its a 2011 Forza 230, goes like a cut cat

Your bike will keep until you're fit enough to ride again

    What he said ^^

But if you're quite insistant that you want someone to take it for a squirt for ya, i'm in Te Horo so could take it out for a strop pretty much anytime !

Edit : It not a bloody road bike is it lol Could Take it up the forks but why the fuck bother i say ! Save the piston till you can ride again rather than let some one else wear it out !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

    Will crash anything

Its a dirt bike i actually used to live in te horo! i'll let you know how I go, have sent out a cry for help to all my bikey mates too so hopefully someone comes back to me. Im just paranoid that having it sitting there unused is bad for it

Not as bad as giving it to some knobjockey who will leave your precious bike in pieces with a rooted engine, clutch etc.

We have bikes sitting all the time for long periods. They're fine from it.
