    Heat is only an issue at many multiples of mach up there... Think re-entry type speeds...

    As the capsule releases and parachutes back down, a cable tears the balloon and it falls to earth too.
    The quote from the crew is that balloon recovery is like "wrestling an elephant". The balloon itself weighs well over a tonne.

    Yep, it's awesome. I love how some people can't just sit in an armchair watching crap on tv, they just have to go and push boundaries.

    I loved how he said that in 4 years he would like to be sitting there helping another young guy do it.
