    Todays ride 9/8/2005

Nothing on at uni today, well one class......, so decided to go for a little ride, popped down 22 to raglan then out to whatawhata (which has no gas station at the moment!) and back north.

The big hole is still on 22, there are still random gravel bits from spot repairs and they are doing roadworks in a few spots as well, NC30's cope with gravel roads just fine, though could do with a touch more complient suspension going through ruts!

I wonder how the road works people know about the slips... It's amazing that no one has crashed yet. I mean, when there is a sign saying road works, you slow down and all is sweet. But what if some unlucky bugger was coming around the bend and there was a recent fresh slip that wasn't sign posted yet? Some would surely get hurt, wouldn't they? Just a thought...

Good 1 Alex! You should have come with us on Saturday as well.
