Met the boys at the turn off (after pete chased & caught me - leading me back the proper way)
Met Chris who despite being a JAFA & KTM rider is a nice bloke
i didn't realise Nrthbank road was so long.
We rode in & out of fog as we climbed higher & took the photo opportunities as they came. Didn't seem to take long to get to the top. The road was pretty well graded till the upper portions where there was a reasonable amount of loose schaley type rocks. There were no issues with anyone.
We stopped at the top & had a natter before nipping back down so Chris could meet up with the other crew coming from Karamea.
Thanks for the ride chaps, its' one I will be doing again!!

Good to catch up with you lot today, I always enjoy a ride up Mt Pat and it makes a nice little outing from my place with plenty of varied terrain.
I haven't been out on the bikes much lately but that was enough to get the adv buzz going.... bring on the DB!

Great to catch up .chris, was a good trip, good company, great riding, mint weather; a few minor roadside repairs but no dramas to speak of
