Bye bye Guzzi, for a wee while

The Guzzi goes on rego hold today for 12 months now.....boohoo

It will give me a chance to make a tail tidy and get some good "authorative" mufflers for it.
Plus I'm going to tidy up all of the little bits around it that have had the commuting taking it's toll on them...ie repaint the tappet covers, new levers etc

I start it once a week to make sure the oil doesn't sit too long in one place plus wheel it around a bit.

So this time next year she'll be looking hotter than ever.

If you start it once a week make sure you run it right up to full op temp to get the moisture out of the crankcase. You might be better just changing oil and filter, running it and simply cranking it over a few times without the ign on...

Put it on a stand if you can and put some carpet etc under the tyres and a battery tender would be a good idea...

Let me know if you want it taken for a gallop and all the best mate. We all have our everests to climb and lets hope the next peaks the top eh?

    Cheers Paul

I do generally run it to operating temperature as I just love listening to the v-twin. If I can't ride it I can at least hear it and rev it

Carpet is a good idea I'll def do that. I'll purchase one of those cheap stands also. Don't want to flat the tyres for sure and I have a battery tender somewhere at home. Must dig it out.

Feel free to give it a blast if you want. Love to see it being used.

I'm used to this hurdle now and it's not bothering me as much as it used to. Just keeping positive from now on.
