    6mm shim cbr1100xx

    Hi guys,

I recently moved up from the bandit to the blackbird, and absolutely love it.
Yesterday I made a shim up for the bike, and it made a big difference to the handling, heres the link if anybody wants to give it a go also.

You're slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter. I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

That site needs registration to view.
Your profile still says your bike is a Bandit.
    Where is this shim?
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.

Good for you, it makes a huge difference. I had one on for about 6 years until I did a major suspension upgrade with a Penske rear and Jaws (UK) front springs and spacers. I hope you love the 'bird as much as I did. Although the 'bird has gone in favour of a lighter, lower bike (65 tomorrow ) I've still got all my setup data for the bird, tips and hints etc plus a soft copy manual. If you'd like a disk with it all on, PM me.
    Cheers,
    Geoff
