Finding my demerits online?

Can it be done? A friend of mine got a ticky today and would like to find out how many points he has. I did a search here and didnt see what I was looking for. TIA, Al

You need to call LTNZ on 0800 822 422 ... and press 2 for demerit/disqualification check.

I think if you have less than 50 they send you a letter in the mail.
I got one saying i had 45 left after my last ticket.

OP-- I dont think the demerits log on until you pay the fine in full unless thay changed that.
Paying is admission of guilt so then you get the points.
Then I think you get a mail out if your within one offence off losing licence so whatever the top instant demerit is. Possibly 50 points but not sure.

something like that. i had a 50 points for speeding demerit notice issued (total now 65/100). fuck knows how they found me. i haven't paid the fine and i didn't give the cops a license...
