I even had touches of snow on the road on my way to work this morning. But I have been assured that due to Global Warming snow is now a thing of the past so it must have been my imagination.

I lived (if you can call it that) in Waiouru ... I've gone off snow too ...

And I bet there will be a frost in Central tomorrow morning.

Here we are in November and I've just re-instated the frost fighting gear in the orchard.

Here we are in November and I've just re-instated the frost fighting gear in the orchard.

A few years back ... there was a big frost at the END of November. It wiped out 80% of the Central Otago vineyards crops .. for that season.

I think there's more to come.

Mrs Jantar turned our frost fighting pump on at 4:00 am. By 7:00 am it was -3C, and we continued frost fighting untill 08:30 when it finally climbed above 0C.
