Bike hire in Aus, Brisbane or outskirts, advise

Hi everyone, my first post. I'm planing a visit to see my daughter in Emerald and maybe hire a bike, thinking of Brisbane or if that is too expensive maybe another town. on the web the bikes are around A$200 a day and that is a bit too expensive for me, can anybody recomend a bike hire place in Aus that may offer better pricing. I will be looking for a road bike, in NZ I ride a GSX 1400se.
