Trying to track down a Moto Guzzi rider from Taranaki

Hi all, as the title says... I'm trying to track down a Taranaki rider as I want to make an offer on his bike.

The bike is a red Moto Guzzi Daytona 1000, that he brought in a police auction.
He's from Taranaki (Mania i think) & was the VP of a club up that way.
I met him at the Hawkes Bay Classic Club labour weekend.\
Anyway, I'm mad keen to buy his bike.
If you know the guy or have any leads plaese let me know.
