Thought that was why you bought a Harley - to minimise the chances of that happening?

Were you wearing black leathers and (from memory) have you got a moustache? There was another rider in WMC while I was buying my helmet (which I am about to go out and test!).
You were dressed a little different in your "photo"! I hadnt checked the thread yesterday to know you would be there or I would have looked for you. I think I recall the lady sitting in front of Brendon - you made some comments to him during the talk? I was wearing my cordura suit and no moustache...that went about 10 years ago!

Yep, that was me, giving Brendan shit as usual! I take it you're not the Selwyn who was on the trip with them for a time? If not, give me a clue as to height, weight, hair colour (if there is any ), glasses or no glasses, etc., so I might be able to pin you down! I was going to wear my BMWOR badge but the other half wasn't keen on wearing it when there was only one other guy wearing his!

I know the police would like us to believe this but basically it's a con.

The UK Police pushed this barrow but it has now been revealed that they played with the statistics. Speed now ranks 7th as a cause of accidents in Britain. The results here would probably not be much different..

What! They're lying to us? Why can that be?

But LB is right... Most days you have to be doing 70 to avoid being run down!
Yeah I've seen them there a few times and with the extra police there with note books or whatever I presume they are training the guy on the lazer gun and its a good spot for him to ping a few. The 70 zone ends before the big right hand curve as you head south past the stadium but 70 - 80 is a typical speed in that 50 zone in either direction except when the boys with the gun are there.

Only a matter of time. Those police are very generous with their tickets and wish for everyone to have one!

I have no grudges against the cop who got me now. He caught the fuckwit kids at my school smoking. Seeing that was worth the 80 buck ticket, made my day

They were recruits from the police college.
