Nothing wrong with hands on experience then
Nothing wrong with hands on experience then
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
I thought so. Somehow they sort of had that newbie look....a sort of slight awkwardness, and being a bit over enthusiastic with their signalling etc.Originally Posted by spudchucka

She checked my wof and rego and made quite a point of the fact my rego expires in 2 weeks. (This I already knew and the paperwork was at home ready to go - I see no point in doing it before it's due.) I dont know whether she didnt like motocyclists or was just keen to ticket somebody....anybody...for anything.

Think I recall seeing that face on Wednesday night! Today we met up with another guy who was there too - can't remember his first name but second name something like Oldenshaw? He was on a BMWOR ride we caught up with today. Damned windy over Foxton way, although the Goose wasn't as bad in the wind as I thought.Originally Posted by sels1

Being frustrated is disagreeable.
But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.
That's the one - I was sitting next to him but opposite his wife, so I could see her name badge but not his!Originally Posted by LB
There was a good turn out for the BMWOR ride on Sunday - about 20 people. Even a couple from Wanganui came over in their car to say hi. It was just a 15 minute run from home for us, but with the strength of the wind, it certainly blew the cobwebs away!
